Are these handmade boots actually comfortable?

I’ve been obsessed with the look of these distressed leather boots I saw online, especially the ones with the unique zippers and overlays. They look like they would take forever to break in, but the style is so cool that I’m almost willing to suffer through a few blisters. Does anyone own a pair from one of those boutique leather shops, and do they actually run true to size?

High-quality leather boots are definitely an investment, but they usually end up being the most comfortable thing in your closet once they mold to your feet. I was really tempted by a pair of tall lace-ups, so I checked out some freebird stores reviews to see what people said about the arch support and the initial break-in period. Most owners mention that the leather is top-notch and they actually get better with age, though you might want to size up if you plan on wearing thick socks. It’s nice to find something that feels like it was actually crafted by hand rather than just popped out of a mold.
