What are your thoughts on pricing models for HR software plans?

I'm currently researching HR software solutions for our small business, and frankly, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the pricing structures out there. It seems like every provider has a different model – per user, per module, tiered packages with varying features. It's tough to compare apples to apples and figure out which option will truly be cost-effective in the long run without unexpected hidden fees. Has anyone navigated this maze recently and found particular pricing models more transparent or beneficial than others for HR software?

I completely understand your frustration! It's indeed a complex landscape to navigate. When we were looking for a comprehensive HR solution, we prioritized transparency in pricing and found that some providers offer tiered plans based on the number of active jobs or credits for specific features, which seemed pretty fair. What caught our eye was a provider that explicitly laid out its ATS pricing, clearly detailing what each tier offered without a ton of hidden costs. It's really helpful when they include things like unlimited users across all plans, and then scale features like AI interviews, assessments, and active jobs. I particularly liked that they offered a free trial to test out the features before committing.
